Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!
While most razor brands tell women they’re not sexy unless they’re hairless, Flamingo, and their line of products, support any woman’s choice—shaving it all off, growing it all out, and everything in between.
But in the fall of 2019, with the U.S. Presidential election in full swing, it was difficult to get a word in. Much less grab a headline about women’s body hair.
So, to break into a news cycle dominated by politics, and spread the word about Flamingo’s mission, we decided to put forward our own candidate. The only candidate who could truly take a stand for women’s pubic hair: Bush.

We created a campaign website where visitors could learn about the issues, download graphics, call our 1-800 number, take a quiz to find the right bush for them, and pledge their support for our pubement.
We even an interactive Bush 2020 Campaign Headquarters in New York City. On Canal St, obviously. Visitors could explore the space to uncover subtle nods to pubic hair and politics—binders full of women; a map of campaign stops in cities like Beaverton, Bushwick, and Hairville; a Pubic Relations Department; etc—take home swag, and join daily programming hosted by women’s health experts and activists.
